Greenproofing supports youth in pursuing environmental entrepreneurship and leadership through three core projects:
College-level Environmental Entrepreneurship Course
Public School Environmental Science Education Programs
Environmental Entrepreneurship Project Laboratory
Leveraging Social Capital, Preserving Natural Capital
Greenproofing is sustained by a diverse and multidisciplinary network of community-based, academic and government stakeholders. Our primary environmental focus is water conservation through the following two programs:
Urban Re-forestry and Green Roofs
Water- Efficiency
Greenproofing projects are interdependent, where ever possible college and public school students are engaged in community forestry and water-efficiency projects as service-learners. Among our network of community stakeholders are alumni of City College and Greenproofing courses and programs.
